Last Saturday was a big day for two of our wedding clients - both in Queensland and both having personalised rock candy bombonieres! 🤍
We love knowing that our candy is making its way to weddings all around Australia, but sometimes there’s a story behind an order that is just too good not to share.
Have you ever been part of a wedding where something didn’t quite go to plan?
Maybe the flowers arrived late. The weather decided to change its mind. Someone forgot the rings. Or perhaps it was something so small that everyone laughs about it now - but at the time, it felt like a BIG deal. 🤭
And this little story about Minka and Arron’s wedding had a few twists of its own…
💕 Two weeks. One wedding. And a very special order.
With just TWO WEEKS until her daughter Minka’s wedding in remote Queensland, Mum came to us with a $500 budget and one big question:
Could we create her custom bombonieres in time? 😳 With shipping taking almost a week, the clock was ticking… but we do love a challenge!
After a few colour changes - sage, cream, white - we finally landed on the perfect combination: elegant white rock candy with a delicate baby pink stripe, packed into personalised jars for Minka & Arron.
Then the hiccups began… 🤭
Our artwork emails with Thank you sticker weren’t getting through, so we switched to text messages. Problem solved and printing ordered! Then… WHAT?!
Mum had paid her invoice, but the money never arrived. She’d accidentally entered the wrong BSB number! She later told us she’s number dyslexic, and we could only imagine the stress as the wedding crept closer.
A second payment was made - and suddenly this little $500 project was getting very expensive!
But there was no turning back now…And then came the best surprise…
📦 They arrived EARLY!
StarTrack delivered the candy days earlier than expected, giving Mum plenty of breathing room before the wedding.
And just look at how they turned out…
The candy featuring the couple names with a little red heart inside each piece - making these bombonieres something much more meaningful than simply a jar of sweets - a gorgeous little keepsake from the wedding day.
And now, the wedding is done…
